This HEB is one of two HEB’s that i go to and this one is great they always have everything I need and sometimes they have new things i didn’t even know I wanted or needed would recommend to go to the HEB Branch really nice people.

I decided to do a Spice Cake. I went to HEB to get the spices I needed. Unfortunately they were out of ground Ginger, so I went to the another HEB, and it too was out of ground ginger. HEB carry’s a great selection of spices, however, it has a lot of duplicates of the same ingredient. For example, it has lemon pepper available over and over again, but by different name brands and labels. Ground Ginger is only available in the small McCormick brand, so if it’s out of stock there is no other brands or labels that carry it. If ground Ginger is so popular, maybe they could feature under the HEB brand. I was able to find a different recipe that didn’t require Ginger so I should be OK. I’ll have to wait and taste to find out.

I love this company. I have a friend that owns a small business and his BBQ Sauce is in a majority of the stores. HEB has been incredibly supportive of him and his company, offering guidance and help along the way. They also do a ton for the community, especially during emergencies. If HEB ran for president, I’d vote for them. Thank you HEB, for all you do 🙂
