I love this shop. They have beautiful clothes and reasonable prices. The customer service is also wonderful. I recommend anyone to stop by and see for themselves. Love it!!!!

I was in Albany for a conference and played hookie to go thrift shopping. Since I first found Great Finds, I go back every year that I am in Albany. This store gets very nice donations. There is a large selection, yet it’s well-organized, not crammed in a way the clothes are difficult to look at. I have walked out with 8 nice items for under $100. This might be expensive for some people, but if so, they also have special sales. For me, the icing on the cake is that the store raises money for an organization that supports people with disabilities. As part of that, the shop gives meaningful employment to these people. Everyone has their strengths, so one staff person may be very outgoing and friendly and another one might be shy but good with organizing. Having a family member who has a disability, and knowing how much unemployment this population has, I am very happy to see a workplace like this.

used to love going here until one day I was checking out with the woman who usually cashes me out (not the owner) and she was talking about a man who she claimed budged her in line for a lottery ticket, so I politely listened and laughed with her, not thinking anything of it, and then a few seconds went by she goes “it was a black guy” …..a very unnecessary blatantly racist comment. I cannot recommend giving your money to anyone who spreads this kind of negativity to customers. :/
