I’ve known this place since I was a child helping my mom carry the groceries.

It is one of the oldest store on Brighton Beach Ave. I remember when that store was very popular. Now it is a typical food store. Advice: when you are shopping on Brighton Beach Ave you need to do comparison shopping. It is mean you should know prices in stores around to buy for proper price.

This place is amazing and authentic Russian. Ask for the special reserve of caviar. Very reasonable prices and broad product selection with Eastern Europe/Jewish/Russian products. Highly recommend the trip from the city to Coney Island, get Whole Food quality products at the fraction of the price. You know a place is great when you walk out and you know the names of who served you.

I’ve known this place since I was a child helping my mom carry the groceries. This is a great store, decent selection of Russian food, mostly pork items and cold cuts. The cashiers aren’t the greatest and neither is the deli person. Overall can be a headache if you’re a local and come here all the time. It’s hard to maintain order in the store as people are always trying little tricks like cutting you in line or going before it’s their turn to ask for deli cuts. Not the best example for Russian and Eastern European culture. Wish people that shopped here were courteous but they are not, sorry to say… welcome to Brighton beach.
