Most GameStop stores are dull and boring. The business model is dated. It’s almost as if you’re in a big box store without any help or guidance. When you go to purchase you may have to wait in a long line. They generally do not have enough staff or the staff working in the stores isn’t helpful or arrogant. Now – there are some exceptions to what I’m saying. Some stores have nicer employees & tend to keep the store in better shape. The former still applies. It is still a boring store for the most part. What I mean by calling it a boring store is they never seem to have what you want when you arrive.I blame the business model. They’re going to want to train employees better in order to be more consistent. Like a good pizzeria – the pie is always the same. Consistency with the sauce, cheese & crust. They may want to copy and paste what Apple does at their retail stores.Apple makes it easy to pay – GameStop doesn’t. Apple offers help and has items on display to test drive – GameStop – maybe they’ll have a game or console on display, but that’s about it.Get it together GameStop. Your stock sucks too.
