Galaxy Bicycles started as The Hub Cyclery in downtown San Marcos, Texas. Since February 2008, The Hub Cyclery has provided bicycle sales and service to the Central Texas community. After 12 amazing years on the downtown San Marcos square, we had an opportunity to purchase land and build a new, state of the art bicycle shop just a few short blocks south of the original location. Opened Leap Day 2020, Galaxy Bicycles is not just a continuation of the community that was built at The Hub Cyclery, but an opportunity to go beyond. Our new shop is ready to meet all of your cycling needs, and we’re excited for what the future holds.

what a service and amazing people!I’ve bought my second bike here. Joel was so calm and helped with adjusting everything I asked for. Even went out of his way to help take out the front wheel as he was leaving for the day(it was 7:20 and they close at 7). I drive all the way from Austin and it’s definitely worth it. The other bike shop from Austin would not even remotely care as much about my bike.Thank you guys for being so good at what y’all do!
