This is my first Rolex, a large investment that I felt I needed to do a little research on before making the purchase. I went to 2 other stores before deciding on Fredric H. Rubel.The first store I went to I never even stepped foot inside, as the employee inside asked me through the glass if I had a “appointment,” I told her “no I just wanted to look”… she insisted I needed to come back with a “appointment,” mind you there was only 1 other customer in the store. I called the store while I was standing at the glass window, the employee told me the soonest they could take me would be the following day, just to look.The second store I found, the entire time I felt as if I was at a car dealership, the employee was pushing, and insisting I made the purchase that day. Also that store had a rather large markup of what was listed online at the ROLEX website.My final stop was at Fredric H. Rubel. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Claire, owner and Staff.. the process of finding the perfect watch for my wife’s gift was comfortable, easy, and the price was what was listed online.If your looking for a great experience at a family owned Jewerly store. I would highly recommend Fredric H. Rubel. My next purchase will defiantly be with them. Thank you

Had been shopping around for (His and Hers Rolex) a 36mm Datejust RS/SS White dial for my wife. Spoke with David via email and was very helpful and informative. Informed me that the watch was available in stock at the Laguna Beach location. Upon arriving at the store we were greeted by Elsa and Sarah. Both very nice, friendly and helpful. There happened to be another 36mm Datejust with Rhodium Diamond dial that caught my wife’s eye. Ended up walking out of the store with the Roman Numeral Rhodium dial. The selection for men was limited. Elsa and Sarah said I would be placed on a wait-list for the watch I wanted. Happy Wife…Now I am patiently waiting for mine…
