Everything you could need under one roof (including diamonds, if you are in that market). Their “Simple Truth” line of products is excellent and often the cheapest option as well. This is also a great store for the types of outdoor gear that all Alaskans need. Their organic section is great and they support local farmers as well. Alaskan grown carrots are about the crunchiest and sweetest you will ever bite into!

I have enjoyed shopping at the store on DeBarr for years and the people working in the curbside service and always very friendly and helpful.I do not understand why the cashiers cannot bag my groceries if I bring in the many bags I had to purchase because the disposable ones were no longer available. I feel that if they are touching the things that I buy without knowing who has touched it before I put it in my cart. I would like to see a recycling bin for the hundreds of paper bags.

Delivery is the best service offered by retailers during uncertain situations with COVID. Fred’s grocery delivery is worthy of 10 stars but 5 is the limit. I thought getting fresh produce might be a deal breaker but the shoppers are better at it than I am!Super service and all around great experience.
