Fantastic pizza. I grew up in Staten Island, and there’s plenty of good pizza options there. Pepe’s pizza outshines them all. Fantastic crust (sometimes I mix it up and get it lightly cooked), first rate sauce, and fresh cheese. Service is always friendly too.Tip: The stocky, dusky haired guy cooks the pizza the best. I’ve no idea what his name is….it’s also conveniently located next to a lingerie shop…

This is a neighborhood staple. Not a particularly large menu, but what they make, they prepare to perfection. Also, having 3 different sizes allows for flexibility in individual pizzas or sharing. You don’t come here for the atmosphere. You simply come here for the pizza. Takeout option is also available. Also love that they sell birch soda. Not too many places like that still around.

back again in early may while passing through heading to middlebury, ct. place was definitely more packed than before, no more alternating tables but still had dividers and good distancing. had 3 small pies between 2 people. can’t fail with white clam pizza. read about the shrimp with red sauce pizza somewhere so we ordered it, but find it a bit too salty and underwhelming. our favorite was the spinach, mushroom & gorgonzola. would definitely get that again.
