Wanted to write a detail review for the amazing job that David (from Fox River Granite) did for recovering my home!I’m one of the owners who experienced a pipe burst during the extreme weather back in Feb’21 in Dallas, TX. My entire brand new development house was flooded with 6 inches deep of water. Originally we wanted to have a warranty claim as it’s a new built from Castle Rock; however, the builder is in denial of any responsibility so we are left with no help. Searched through google and attempted to call every single contractors we can find but most of the highly rated ones are all 1 month out. We were lucky enough to have met David’s team. He is honest, friendly, very informative during the entire rebuild process that we didn’t need to ask for update, and most of all very timely (It’s 2 months long project through beginning of Apr, but I’m sure it would have been at least a 3 months reconstruction for others let alone there isn’t anyone who can help during the contractor shortage).Since we ended up went through the reconstruction with insurance and the money wasn’t coming as quickly as we wanted. David is very thorough and sent us a quote that is close to the field adjuster’s estimate. He is also very transparent and told us that we can either wait (It took almost 2 weeks for our insurance to send us a check and then 2 additional weeks for our lender (due to TX law if check is >$10k) to release us payment) OR if we are comfortable to issue them a check with 50% of the estimate, they can start the work right away.Understand 50% is a lot of money, but we already built trust throughout the first week with David so we were not worry at all. David used the same if not better quality material to rebuild our place! i.e We paid upgrades fee with our cabinets and floorings but we couldn’t locate the same brand and color anywhere out there. He personally reached out to the supplier who usually usually sell to builders and was able to convince them to sell us the material! (I called myself and got turn down couple times) Then, he gave us an option to pick better quality of stone for our counter top needed to be replaced.We are still waiting for the rest of the claim check to be released as of today and we’re glad we didn’t wait in the first place.It is a long review, but I wanted to make sure if you are still looking for a team who is honest and highly skilled, look no where. We had such a fantastic experience with Dylan, David, and all of the crew at Fox River! We originally were going to use a different granite company and had a very sub par experience with them. From the moment I pulled up to Fox River, it was a much needed relief! Dylan greeted me at the door and helped me get in with my huge double stroller carrying my two babies. He instantly made me feel like their most important customer. After learning our project needs, we walked out to the granite yard and got to choosing. He helped me figure out what I wanted and really helped me be sure of my choice. I was never rushed and he even gave his own opinion and thoughts when I asked him. After my selection was made, he kept me in the loop with when it was being cut and double checked to make sure they had the exact slab I wanted (which they did). David called me the day before installation to confirm, which was so appreciated. Communication is the way to my heart and Fox River exceeded my expectations! We’re thrilled!
