Combined with our quirky-rustic-industrial-modern vibe and friendly staff – we aim to give our guests an experience that transports them to a place of relaxation. We want our space to be a channel for people to come together; no matter what race, color, culture, or ethnicity. Our food concept is Seasonal/New-American with a strong focus on showcasing techniques from all around the world while using the freshest ingredients; our cuisine will surely capture your Californian pallet and will give you a run for your money! Foreigner was on my list of brunch places to visit for quite some time now. We came on a weekend afternoon with plenty of seats outdoors. The place has cute interior featuring a wall of artsy clocks, I am guessing representing time zones from around the world, even the order number card is a laminated postcard with clocks. Really love these small details that give the place more character. We came in with really high expectation because of the photos others have posted, but feel like Foreigner missed the bar by a bit, overall still a good brunch place.Smoked Salmon Toast with Avocado – 4/5 – The toast came with a giant piece of smoked salmon covering the bread with some avocado pieces as topping. As soon as you dig in, you will notice that underneath the salmon, there are also sliced cucumbers, cherry tomato, and boil egg! Love the layering of each ingredient that gives this toast a very light finish and healthy vibes. Hoping for a little more avocado on top, maybe they just picked a smol avocado.Foreigner Favorite – 4/5 – This is a mix of sausage, potato, onion and two poached egg. It is on the heavier side with strong flavoring, so it was a good compliment to the toast. Egg yolks were runny, maybe a just a tiny little bit undercooked since some egg white were still runny as well.I also heard that they are offering upscale dinner menus as well in addition to the casual brunch setting, would be interested to try out dinner sometime.

Passed byForeigner Cafe on a weekend morning and made a decent cup of latte. Looks like a pretty cozy spot for breakfast/lunch, they offer quite an impressive food menu and the displays at the counter look delicious. Maybe I should come back one day and give their food a try.

Bacon and Cheddar Quiche: 4/5 bacon is always right, tasty, rich and delicious.Ham Quiche: 3/5 a standard good quiche.Triple Chocolate Mousse: 3/5 love the lower 2 layers, but not a fan for the white chocolate layer, it covered up the entire cake.Victorian London Fog: 4/5, it smells great when I received it! The Lady who made it for me recommended to add some honey, but I guess she added a bit too much……Over sweet for the first sip, the smell of earl grey was cover by honey, even I added another half cup of milk after get back home, it’s still too sweet.I believe itself with less honey taste great tho!Servers were really friendly 🙂
