Massive park in the heart of queens, easily accessible from the 7 train. See the vast cultures collides and diversity at its finest. Enjoy a picnic, a bike ride, have some street food, or just a nice stroll through. Exit the park at different points to explore different varieties of cuisines from local merchants.Special tip, no need to travel to DC for the cherry blossoms. Keep an eye on the bloom reports in April/May and you will be in for a treat!

A getaway from the city destructions. It may not be the best place on the city but great if you want to walk, run, hang out with friends and family. You can bring your food and create a picnic. You can ride your bike. Great place for activities for children (there are parks and slides). A great place for meditation. However, down side is that it is dangerous to walk alone sometimes because I encountered drunk and weird men hanging around too many times so be careful of that. Overall, a great place for a break from the city.
