We live in a different state than my in-laws & wanted to send flowers for Mother’s Day. We wanted to support local businesses so we chose Flowers by Buck. The reviews were great so we ordered an arrangement that they had listed on their website.We ordered over a week in advance. The day the flowers were supposed to be delivered we received a phone call from the florist letting us know that they don’t have the items for that arrangement in stock. We were disappointed at the short notice, especially being the same day of the delivery. But were thankful they offered to do another arrangement but it would be delivered a day later than we requested. It was fine by us. They even offered calla lilies, which are more expensive. We thought, “great! This will still work out nicely.”We asked my MIL to send a pic & it was a plant of calla lilies in a super cheap container with a hideously cheap bow. It looked like someone stopped by the grocery store & dropped this off. SUCH a disappointment. We paid >$80 for that!We won’t be ordering from Flowers by Buck again. I guess it’s back to the mega flower companies for us for out of state orders.

This arrangement was delivered to my cousin on today. I called so many places and none of them delivered to her area. However, this florist made an exception for a small fee. My family was so happy to have received it. She a said they had not been there 5 minutes before she called to say thank you. It’s when you receive something unexpectedly it lights up your entire day!

They did a great job and were meticulous about sending a quality product to my mom. They called me because they needed to replace one of the flowers that is typically in the arrangement I ordered, and gave me options and I could tell they really wanted to be sure I would be happy with what they used. The card I sent indicated, vaguely, that the flowers were in part a sympathy gift. The gentleman who called me, went out of his way to say he was sorry and would pray for whatever our situation was and that he would personally make sure the flowers looked great and got to my mom. I think that is rare today, and such a great quality in a local business.
