Fisherman’s Quay is a wonderful place to stay. Located an easy walk to shopping and downtown, the Quay makes for a great headquarters between excursions. There are bicycles and kayaks available, and the dock gives easy access to the channel. The place itself was comfortable and well equipped with a full kitchen. There is also an extra bathroom and shower for large groups. We highly recommend it.

My family stayed at the FQ for our first visit to Alaska and we could not have had better accommodations! The Loft was beautifully remodeled and provided us all the items we needed to enjoy our stay. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, utensils, spices and the appliances were new and clean. The beds were comfortable and we even plugged in our phone to listen to Pandora through the built-in speakers while doing a puzzle at the table. The Loft’s proximity to town and fishing was just a pleasant walk down the street and the view from the deck (and dock) was unparalleled. We used the guest kayaks and fishing rods daily as well as the bikes. All the information for what Sitka had to offer was provided inside the unit so we just had to organize our agenda for the week. Very pleasant stay and extremely memorable!

Our family of 6 (grandma/pa, mom/dad, 2 kids) stayed at the South Bunkhouse of the Fisherman’s Quay and couldn’t have been more pleased. We left the Super 8 after 1 night ($120/night more for 2 rooms) and were able to get early check-in midweek. Barb was so helpful and accommodating. We took the seakayaks out and there are lots of bikes to choose from as well. The kitchen had all the amenities for cooking and beds/bunks were very comfortable. Location and views can’t be beat! We will be back for sure.
