While everyone was friendly and helpful when buying my shoes, it turns out that you can’t return them unless they are in totally perfect showroom condition. What kind of clothing store has that as a return policy, you may ask? None others that I’ve been to/ordered from and had to return something. Doesn’t matter that it’s printed on the receipt in fine print — if you want to compete with anyone (be it REI or Amazon) then you can’t have such old, dated return policies. Go somewhere where they’re up-to-date with how they handle returns (i.e. almost everywhere else). I’m stuck with shoes that I can’t wear because they ended up being uncomfortable. .

I ordered a pair of shoes to be sent there. I was never called when they came in. I called to check, and made the trek. Not even a Can I help you? There was no one else in there. I just had to tell them what I was about – 3 of them, mind you. I found a couple other pair I wanted to try on and they didn’t ask me if they should look for them. When I asked, I sat there until they reshelved them, but they didn’t automatically walk to my little bench me and tell me they didn’t have them. Every single time I had to ask. Who works at a shoe store and doesn’t think they have to sell shoes?
