Just had the worst experience at this place which funny enough was created by the ‘new owner’! It felt like walking into the wrong building in the segregated south with the ‘white only’ sign.Granted I used to love the older white couple that owned it. They actually were kind enough once to deliver me feed for free about 5 years ago.This ‘new owner’ first of all interrupted a conversation I was having with his associate, trying to figure out why my bags of dog food were not adding up. He interrupted me, raised his voice at me as if he were reprimanding me for daring to ask them anything, then proceeded to suggest I was lying. When I responded by asking him if he was Judging me, I got met with a bunch of more yelling. When I asked to talk to the old owners whom I thought were still running it and were one of the kindest people in town, apparently they had moved on and this – ‘wife beater-wearing owner’, was the new Man. After poor treatment and yelling at me, I am never ever going to go over there again.And if it hurts you when someone Judges you because of the color of your skin and not the content of your character, I suggest you think twice before spending money in places like this run by people stuck in racial prejudice and complete disregard for the efforts made by humanity to live as one, equal, under God’s eyes, striving to promote, love, respect and especially a regard for another human being. I am really disappointed that this is still where we are as the human race, it is 2021 and what do we have to show for? Hate? That was done in the Barbaric times and all throughout history. Don’t we learn? Hate will never yield harmony and peace. And without peace some vicious circle we wouldn’t let go of as humans. We need to speak up when wrong is done to us until this type of sh**t don’t happen again!
