Food and service was good. Table placement and cash out experience not pleasant. Was seated at a table next to where people cash out. I didn’t realize I would be eating while people waited in line to cash out while standing on top of you. I imagine if the cashier was faster this wouldn’t occur. When I went to cash out the girl wanted to give me 20 singles as change. She had no $5’s or $10’s to make change. I said no and waited for the cashier to have proper change so I didn’t have a wallet as if I was going to a strip club.

The place was very cool a few years ago but is showing it’s age. Little things are left broken, dirty or both. The men’s room was in need of an overhall and a deep cleaning. Tables were uneven and a few chairs were wobbly. It’s kinda like it really was a 1950’s place not a reproduction of one.The food: food was good, even very good. But ….. neither plate was what we ordered. My girl ordered London Broil and got Skirt Steak. Which I think that was much tastier anyway, that should go on the menu with the London Broil topping. I ordered a Pastrami Ruben and I got corned beef, which I didn’t think was better it was a little dry and came out cold. Asking for the french fries well done was the best move and they came out hot and were delicious.Overall I’d go back because the prices weren’t bad but if they don’t spruce things up they’ll lose the new people moving up here by the truck full. I did 4 stars because I know they will do better after this pandemic is F’in over. I hope they last and thrive because this community needs them too !!!

Terrific food (I went with the corned beef dinner special), sweet potato fries were great ~ Sarah was a very attentive/timely waitress…
