I hopped by for a half hour yesterday.The fact that the owner is so knowledgeable, friendly, and kind is what sets this store apart from any other shop on Long Island. I walked into the store and he was able to give me some wonderful recommendations. While I was making my purchase we had an amazing conversation about comics we had read and the comics industry and I was just so unbelievably happy. I don’t really know a lot of people who read comics, let alone the stories I’ve been getting into.If you are reading this, thank you for yesterday. Hope I wasn’t a bother. You just being you made my day. Thank you.Escape Pod Comics is where I will be buying exclusively from now on. the store has some amazing stuff. It’s small but well organized, the selection is HUGE and they were 100% safe and socially distant.

My local comic shop went out of business earlier this year and I was really struggling to find one that would provide both a great selection as well as actually have people that are nice and knowledgeable. I found both at Escape Pod. I literally drive from NJ to get my comics and it is worth every mile driven. Please please please give them a try.
