Equator Coffees

  4.6 – 355 reviews  $$ • Coffee shop

Located at Mill Valley’s Tam Junction, our first cafe opened in 2013 in the iconic Proof Lab Surf Shop, the Bay Area’s largest surf and skate shop. Tam Junction is the starting point for cyclists, surfers, skateboarders, hikers, and North Bay travelers—and you’ll feel the energy and buzz of activity and outdoor adventure. A Shakerado in the afternoon is the perfect sweet treat after running or walking the dipsea trail. Enjoy sweet and savory pastries from the Equator Pantry. Grab a canned Equator Cold Latte or cold pressed juice and hit the road!

Hip local coffeehouse chain serving single-origin coffee, tea & light eats.

I ordered an iced Mocha and my first reaction when tasting it was that it was extremely plain and milky. Very cool and fun environment. Employees are super nice.

Cappuccino was not very good, tasted like regular drip coffee. Service in the morning is very slow and inconsistent. Prices are steep for what you get. I do not recommend Equator Coffee
Frank Gartland
