The personal service I received from the Athens store was amazing. A great bunch of folks who work hard to provide quality service and great prices.

They did not charge my debit card but let it run on the credit card.

Due to traveling frequently for business, we rent cars fairly often. Enterprise is always our choice. This location in Athens, Alabama happens to be one of our favorites due to the exceptional service. They are always friendly and very efficient. Never disappointed by the exceptional staff here.

PLEASE READ… This is a terribly managed branch. About a month or so ago around spring break, I made reservations a month in advance for a pickup truck for spring break. I was going to take the kids out of town and I didn’t want to drive my vehicle. The day of my reservation I travel to the Athens branch of Enterprise to pick up my vehicle only to find out that they didn’t have the truck that I requested. I told a gentleman that worked there that it was understandable, however what I couldn’t understand why no one contacted me in advance to let me know. The gentleman apologized and stated that he didn’t know if he could find me a vehicle but he would definitely try. After an hour and a half he was able to locate me one however I had to drive about 45 minutes to pick it up. He told me for my inconvenience that he would discount the rental and give me two future rentals of my choice. He gave me a card with his name on it and wrote two free rentals at the top of it. I told him he didn’t have to do that but I appreciate it. Fast forward. Couple months later I was planning on making another small trip so I contacted Enterprise again and made reservations in advance spoke to an individual there and advised them that I had two free rentals and asked if they were valid. The individual set up the rentals and told me yes indeed it was valid. All I needed to do was bring the card that showed it and they would honor it. So today, the day before my trip, I get a call from Enterprise saying that they can no longer honor what the gentleman just told me yesterday they can only give me a discount for what I paid for my previous rental and that’s it. Keep in mind I never asked for the free rental to begin with. It was given to me because of poor communication and customer service. Funny huh? I told the gentleman never mind and cancelled. I’ll do business with a competitor and pay full price before I deal with a company like Enterprise Athens. The sad part about it is I never had this issue with the Madison Alabama store. In my opinion they need to shut this Athens store down because all they’re doing is ruining the reputation of the company. They’ve already lost this one customer right here, and it’ll probably lose more if they continue to do business the way they’re doing. Side note to consider also….Every time I go in this store there’s someone different working. Employee retention is a sign of a failing business. Keep that in mind

Enterprise Rent -A-Car is unreliable. This morning, myself and others were waiting on our vehicles that were promised but not delivered. I do not recommend them at this time.
