The staff was amazing, friendly, and extremely accommodating. They went above and beyond to help make my rental enjoyable. Both my status as a PlatinumTier Member and military member was recognized and upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager. I was given a rental upgrade out of military courtesy. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent leadership…thanks!

Warning: I need to vent. What a frustrating experience. I did nothing but try to find Enterprises with availability along the Amtrak route on my ride here from LGA because I’ve spent 36 hours traveling FROM DALLAS and still hadn’t made it to my destination Syracuse Enterprise which would have been closed had I stayed on the train. A dozen or so locations from LaGuardia to Utica and these guys are the only ones with a full size car. I knew I’d be pushing it getting there on time and couldn’t even wait on a Lyft to pick me up so I ran from Utica Station. This guy has the audacity to fuss at me about him being clocked out already when I told him 1.5 ago I was on the train and on my way after he called my emergency contact back in Dallas to ask for my employee ID to honor my rate. Why didn’t he call me? Even better he could have called and said “hey too late, buddy. I’m closing at 6. Figure it out” then I would have just stayed on the train to Syracuse where my bags and hotel are. Just the thought of being stranded in Utica in the same clothes I had on since yesterday 5am or paying $100 or several hours to get there was killing my soul after the day and a half I’ve had. I mean he was sitting there at 6:30 so was it really worth the guilt trip about being clocked out and having to do a five minute job? I kept my cool through several diversions, delays and cancellations but this was about to be the straw breaking the camels back. Thank you Hilton and American for adjusting accordingly without stressing me out and losing hundreds of dollars. Needless to say I got a car smaller than my golf bag and suitcase can fit. I’m thankful for it but a little customer service and understanding would have gone a long way for a loyal Enterprise/National customer racking up 8K+ points a year with work and is finally taking a vacation off to a rough start. I would have been accepting of any other response but the one I got. Like him just not being there in the first place. Like I tell my guys “Off the clock? You ain’t gotta go home but you gotta get outta here!” Two stars because something is better than nothing plus another star because he finally chilled out…probably after realizing it’d take him less than ten mins to open back up and handle his business #ventover

We’ve always rented here and it’s been a great. A couple times we’ve gotten some serious upgrades. I’m going to give it 5 stars as i do think it’s deserving but I’m a bit confused as to the sudden price increases. Imo it seems like price gouging. Once everyone got their $1400 stimulus checks the prices immediately doubled. It’s now $500 to rent an economy car for the week and if that’s not bad enough they now charge $300 if you use a debit card. To be fair, you do get the $300 back at the end of the week so that’s not their fault because you use a debit card. But yeah, $500 a week for an economy car seem a bit over the top. I just wish they had more consistent pricing.
