Pretty tasty, top-notch pies. I tried the following:Smooth Operator – my personal favorite. Light in texture and rich in flavor, very chocolatey without being too sweet. The pretzel crust is a perfect match.In the Limelight – great creamy, light texture, strong lime flavor.Cloud Nine – my family liked it; it was a little sweet for me. It also did not survive the drive home very well, and was a puddle in a box when I got home (about 45 minute drive, AC on, coolish, cloudy day).The Drunken Nut – second favorite. Great texture and flavor; best pecan pie I’ve ever had. Sweet, but not as sweet as grocery store pies, which are too sweet in my opinion.

Heard great things about Emporium Pies and the efforts by the two owners to make the best pies. Well they do a great job. Due to Covid the restaurant interior is not open. Just the top of of the door is open to pass the pies to the customers contact free.The slice of pie was packaged beautifully and the pie was a visual masterpiece. I am a lover of anything pecan and this pie did it for me. Emporium Pies is located in historical downtown McKinney, a fun place to stroll around. I will be back.
