Edible Uprising Farm is a small scale farm growing vegetables and flowers in the heart of Troy, New York. We are dedicated to growing nutrient dense food, enriching soil fertility, and offering food access within the city without the need of a car. We are passionate about food, farming, the environment and community. We grow over 70 varieties of vegetables and over 50 varieties of flowers, which we offer through CSA farm shares, wholesale and retail at our farm stand June – November.

We’ve visited this little gem of a farm within the city limits of Troy, N. Y., and were entranced with the lush health and beauty of the vegetables and flowers, and the sheer variety of plants they are growing. Alicia and Ben have created a paradise in their very first year. And the tomatoes! The radishes! The kale! The sweet potatoes! I cannot enjoy grocery store vegetables again, knowing what’s possible to find fresh from their farm. With their second year coming up, I cannot imagine what delicious treats await us.

An idyllic small farm providing fresh nutritious vegetables for the community. Run by two of the most dedicated and knowledgeable farmers I have ever encountered! I can’t recommend a better CSA in the area. The farm stand on Saturday’s is an excellent opportunity to see the farm, engage with the owners, and pick up a variety of fresh vegetables!
