A small, beautiful town between Muir Woods & Golden Gate Bridge. This has amazing walkways, abundant souvenir shops & other shopping places. There is abundant parking space. Some restaurants serve amazing fruit & chocolate ice creams. You can easily spend 4 – 5 hours here admiring nature’s beauty. There are not much high rise buildings – an ideal romantic gateway. Consider visiting this place while returning from Muir Woods to maximize your time at SF / Sausalito. Ferry rides back to SF (Pier 39) are directly available until 7pm from Sausalito.

Usual souvenir shop overload, a few art shops but that’s about it. The view at the water is beautiful. Don’t watch it through a lens on youe camera but with your eyes and enjoy life and think about anything. 5 stars for just the view of the bay.
