Very rude and uppity people.

Wonderful service and a very knowledgeable team. They created a custom engagement ring for my fiancée that was a very intricate and difficult design. They did an amazing job in a timely manner and it couldn’t have been done any better. I will be a lifelong customer and I strongly recommend them.

All I have to say is WOW! Where to begin?! I have soft roots here in Abilene, Texas and happened to find myself here again thanks to a pipeline being built just north. I had been here for around 5 months and decided that I loved my now soon to be bride so much that I was ready to make it official! I took much time looking online and all around Abilene looking for the place that was right for me, I just could not be made to feel at home anywhere. I then noticed a large billboard which mentioned Busch Jewelers downtown, so just when I thought I was done looking, I figured I would give it a try. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by what I know now as one of the kindest persons I have met in my life, Mrs. Carolyn. For the next month or so Mrs. Carolyn did not simply try to just sell me an engagement ring, but she educated me on the process and educated me on scoring of a diamond, that which I had absolutely no experience whatsoever! Never at any time did I feel pressured, I absolutely felt at home. I often brought tears to Carolyn’s eyes because I believe that she saw her own son in me, he also would be getting married soon. I could tell that she loved her job with a true passion, and these moments were what she lived for. She went out of her way to have diamonds shipped to the store the very next day so that I may look at a wide variety. I was amazed that she would go so out of her way. Once the ring was decided on it took only 3 weeks for it to be made and shipped to the store, and once it was shipped the store got right on setting the stone. I had my ring a day after it was shipped to the store. Mrs. Carolyn walked me through the insuring process and was so excited to hear, yet again, the story of how I would propose to the woman I loved so much. Tears began to roll and so we parted ways. A month or so later, Mrs. Carolyn would receive a picture from me via text message of me on one knee proposing to my lady and she seemed more excited than me! I took my fiance into the store the next day to meet Carolyn and she began to explain how I proposed all the while I am sitting there blushing, noticing that all the wonderful ladies of the store were crowding around and listening to the story. We had to get the ring re-sized because it was just barely too big. One last hooray for Busch’s, they had the ring re-sized and returned to my fiance the VERY NEXT DAY! Who does that?! All I have to say is that I can see why Busch’s Jewelers has been in business for so long, and that is because they take personal pride in helping young men like me start their lives with the woman they would give their own lives for. As a representative, Mrs. Carolyn made me feel right at home and I can honestly say that I have made a great friend out of this. Big two thumbs up and Kudos to Busch’s. Keep up the great work and God Bless every one of you!

Had a great experience when we went there about a month ago. We talked to a gentleman in the watch department. He helped us get a watch fixed in a matter of minutes. Very nice man. But our next visit there over the weekend was clearly not great. After cleaning house all day and running errands. My boyfriend and I wanted to get a watch fixed (take a link out) and look at some possible wedding sets. That did not happen, we had not even made it 3 steps into the store and we were met at the door by a man who then told us we could not be helped. He explained to us that he could not help us because they were getting ready for a sale and we would have to come back in 3 weeks. That;s right 3 weeks. We explained we had been in before and it only took them a minute to do. He then said no..they could not help us. My question is if your getting ready for a sale and cant help customers why not put a sign on your door saying your closed!! I’m pretty sure he saw an interracial couple with tattoos and didn’t even want us in the store. His story was so lame . Anyhow my husband convinced me you just to pray for him. He clearly judged us when we got off the car. Sad. I will never buy or even acknowledge this place after this review. Clearly they do not welcome people of color and its sad. The one gentleman who helped us on our last visit was amazing. I hope he finds a better place to work.
