With an intriguing name like Dickey’s for a Barbecue joint, I honestly didn’t know what to expect! I found later that it was a chain, but as I began to see more and more of this establishment popping up, I decided to give it a go!Upon visiting, I happened to see a sign that was promoting a special for their 2 meat plates! It sounded like a lot of food, and because I had a massive appetite that day, I decided this was perfect!When I received my plate, honestly I was a bit disappointed at the size of it. I thought I would be so hungry afterwards, that I have even began thinking about where I should eat next! Boy, was I wrong! I was stuffed half way through the meal!The ribs were mediocre at best. Quite tough and not as tender as I’d have liked them to be. The brisket was good, but also dry. The chicken breast was actually done right. Not at all dry, and seasoned well! If anything, I think if you were to douse everything in barbecue sauce, it would have been delicious! My favorite sides of the night were the barbecue beans!Great place to get barbecue at a bargain! Just remember that it is what it is!
