I’ve been going to Ace for over 30 years here in Davis. The same thing happens every time. There are one or two people working so hard you can’t get your attention, and the rest are always just around the next corner. Mostly, I don’t need them so it’s not much of an issue, but, as usual, I couldn’t find a 3/4 pipe strap, even though they had 3/8, 1/2, 1, 1.25, 1.5, and 2 in stock, and you have to travel back and forth from the far corner of the big building to the far corner of the pets area to see everything they have for pipe, something I’ve never understood why they aren’t all together. Pricing is higher that the other box stores, but it saves a drive to winters or woodland. One more star when they out all the pipe stuff together, and another when they hire experienced staff and pay them to stay and be helpful.
