Tldr: Terrible consultant ; Horrible customer service ; Messy storeI visited Davids Bridal early the month of May to try on wedding dresses for my wedding late December. The consultant assigned to me was Chelsea. She was also working with 2 other brides at the same time and didn’t have the time or interest in helping me out. Most of the time she was just sitting with other consultants and chit chatting without tending to the brides. When I finally found the dress, Chelsea told me I would get a 10% discount if I paid for it the same day and that they would work with me to get a rush order on the dress. Before I committed to the dress, I went out for lunch to mull over it and then went back the same day to pay for it. By then they had completely changed their words and said a new dress would only arrive end of November and there were no discounts on the price. The only option would be to take the dress available in store. This dress was so dirty – literally black at the bottom and torn all over. The staff were extremely rude, refused to clean the dress and said the best they could do was to give a 10% off on a torn dirty dress ! I would expect a bridal salon to have much more courteous and helpful staff at least apologetic about the situation! I walked out of the store extremely disappointed and furious with the whole experience. I would never go back in there or ever refer any of my friends to visit this place.

0 stars!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND.This rating is for the staff at this location. The overall Davids Bridal Franchise is lovely, beautiful dresses, and I found The One at this location. My shopping experience was great, the sales associate assisted me in pulling dresses along with my maidens of honor until I found my perfect dress. The checkout appeared to go smoothly. I had planned to purchase the dress from my home state location as there was a difference in sales tax (much lower in my home state), I thanked the sales associate and went home. I later received a call that the manager could adjust the price if I wanted to go ahead and purchase the dress from this location. I was thrilled and agreed to complete the purchase, I received an email with the tracking details for the dress. When I arrived home and unwrapped the dress I was so excited until I stated to inspect the inside. It was filthy. For reference, I did not purchase a dress off of the clearance rack. My dress was new, in stock, in season. I was expecting a brand new dress from the warehouse. Instead, I got an off the rack dress from the Santa Clara Davids bridal location. It appears they must have had my dress shipped to the store, switched it out for one that had been worn and was probably now on clearance. When I called to find a solution, the only help the manager proposed was for me to take the dress to my home location to be cleaned………feeling discouraged I called my David’s Bridal location.Thankfully, not all David’s Bridal’s…..when I called my home location and told them about what had happened, they verified my date, and quickly put in an order for a new dress so that it would surly arrive on time and gave me options with how I wanted to return the soiled dress. David’s Bridal is a wonderful store…the Steven’s Creek location however, is a tactless store who in understandable desperate times appears to be practicing fradulant business. Becuase a dress is discounted, and because you adjusted the price to match what my home-store location would have charged, my brand-new dress was exchanged for a used one because they feel they did me a favor? I am thankful for my home location, but if I could do everything over I would have never gone through with the purchase from this location. My home store was able to easily see that the dress was available to ship directly from the warehouse and said there was no reason why I should have received a used dress. Buyer BEWARE, it’s better to order online and have them ship it to your house or just make the trek to the Pinole or Modesto because thank God my dress is going to arrive with enough time for me to get my alterations completed. This was a careless and deceitful act by the management at this location. They are well aware of the time constraints that can be imposed with finding the perfect dress and preparing it for your special day (as they remind you throughout your shopping experience). Protect your peace, and your special day. 0 stars.

This was my first visit to a bridal store and chose to go to David’s Bridal because my wedding is a few months away and I figured they would have more options to choose from. I created an account online with David’s Bridal website to make the experience smoother, I was able to look at dresses and save my favorites. I called the store before booking my appointment to make sure they had the dresses that I liked available to try on in store.Upon arrival my party of 3 and I were greeted and were asked to look at dresses while we waited for someone to assist with our appointment. The store was really busy as expected since it was a Saturday. It did take about 15 minutes to have our consultant greet us and get our appointment going. There was also some confusion and the consultant was not able to find my appointment in their system so she couldn’t see my favorite dresses. She was really nice and asked for my style preference. I showed her the dresses that I liked online and she was able to find some of them and gave me other great options to choose from. The appointment did feel pretty rushed but I was happy with how helpful my consultant was overall. I ended up purchasing my wedding dress on the first visit which was one of my top picks online. The staff member that helped me with the checkout was also rushing me to pay and I had a few questions about how alterations would work and asked her to explain the process for me since this was my first time purchasing a wedding dress. She did answer my questions which I’m grateful for but it did feel like I had to dig for them.
