Opening our doors in 2014, Dark Age Tattoo Studio has become known for our detail-oriented, high caliber artists. We pride ourselves in creating custom tattoos for each client that walks into our shop on the Denton Square in Denton, TX. With over 17 award-winning artists, we specialize in all styles of tattoos ranging from black and grey realism and color realism to neotraditional, and even American traditional, tattoos. Our artists each have their own individualistic style that makes their artwork one of a kind. Our incredible team of artists has led us to being named Best of Denton County by the Student’s Choice and Dallas’ Best Tattoo Studio by the Dallas Observer in 2016.

I can’t be more pleased with my tattoo experience at Dark Age Tattoo Studio. My artist, Al, listened to my design ideas and paid such close attention to detail when I asked him to add on to an existing piece. I could tell that he takes his art very seriously. He even went above and beyond by walking me to my car after our session ran late. I’ve been to the studio several times and I’m always amazed at how clean it is and beautifully decorated. I’m already looking forward to my next appointment with Al.

I’ve been to several other tattoo shops, some I liked, some not so much, but after visiting Dark Ages I will NEVER go to another tattoo shop again. I’ve been here many times now and have been tattooed by 3 different artists and all of them are so next level! The whole experience is so much better than anywhere else. The place itself is beautiful. The artists do an incredible job doing exactly what you want. They are also a million times more talented than most places. I recommend this place to anybody looking for a good solid tattoo they definitely won’t regret.

Hands down one of the best tattoo shops I’ve been to. Frank was/is my artist and deserves every penny charged. His work is next level and is well known. 100% recommend dark age tattoo studio as they have a wide range of artist to match a style you would like. Also thier studio is located in a small square that is nice to walk around if you have time.
