SO HELPFUL!! My doc mixed up pick up locations for the 3rd time and each time I was unable to get my prescription. When the pharmacist here ran into the same problem, she was quick to see my frustration and helped. Whatever she did ended with me walking out prescription in hand and I’m so greatful! Will definitely keep returning.

As I am writing this, my wife is changing our prescriptions to another company. I would like to explain why.I live in between Sacramento and Yuba City. My daughter, who is disabled, needed to be at an appointment in Sacramento in the evening. She needed a medication. The doctor called the prescription in to the CVS in the Target in Yuba City – which is 90 minutes away from where our appointment was.So we called the CVS and asked them to transfer the prescription to a location in Sac. We were told that it was in progress, couldn’t be transferred and would be done in 30 minutes. She needed the meds.So we re-adjusted everything, changed dinner plans to grab something fast on the road, which is not a good plan for those who are disabled, but what can we do? She needed the meds. So, wondering why they wouldn’t just transfer the prescription, I drove north to Yuba City to pick up the prescription; then I would head south again, pick up my wife and daughter and head to Sac and hopefully be able to grab something for dinner in the 20 minutes we had to spare. So that’s what we did. The line at the Pharmacy went way down the aisle. And then I got to the counter. It was no 45 minutes after they told us that it would be done in 30.And the woman at the counter, unbelievably, said, It isn’t ready right now.I attempted to explain how horrible this is, but she didn’t care.I said, I need help, then. She needs the med, and she also needs to be in Sacramento in 2 hours. She said, I can transfer it to Sacramento!Which is exactly what i wanted them to do in the first place. But now it is an hour later, in an already screwed up day.So now I have 15 minutes to spare to try to figure out how to get my disabled daughter dinner before her evening appointment. So here is the thing. I don’t mind that you are busy. I don’t mind that things take a little longer when you are busy. I don’t mind when you run out of meds and have to order. I don’t mind if you tell me that you can’t get it until tomorrow. But what is the deal breaker to me is when you won’t do what you say you will do.You say you will find the best price, call the doctor, get the best prescription…you have never once done this. More often than not, we show up and you matter-of-factly say, ‘That will be 350 dollars….without even the courtesy of a phone call…You say that it will be ready at a certain time. It never is.You say that you will contact the doctor to renew. You never do.And we have never, ever, ever had as much difficulty getting medication as we have with you people. We spend hours on the phone, trying to coordinate prescriptions and getting them right, which you people promise that you will do. But you never do.So we cannot do business with you. A business is only as good as its word, whether that word is from the employees in the middle of a Target, or a huge corporation, or a mom and pop store. If you can’t keep your word, I won’t do business with you.Once or twice, OK. Consistently, it is time to go elsewhere.
