“Oz” or “Ozzy” is the rudest most inconsiderate and arrogant pharmacist, I have ever encountered. I had just come from UCLA urgent care having been diagnosed with influenza A. I patiently waited for him to acknowledge my existence in the drop off area, he told me it would be 20 minutes before he could get my medication. I asked nicely if there was any way to expedite my medicine. Oz said, “I’m not giving you a choice. You’ll have to wait 20 minutes.” At which point he tried to pass off the prescription to the assistant as not having being cleared by my insurance. The assistant confirmed insurance had cleared the order, immediately. Oz was preparing two flu shots, so I patiently, wait for him to administer two flu shots. I’m thinking ok no big deal, he has to get them done once he has drawn them. And, I can even forgive the rude comment, maybe he is socially inept. But then, he proceeds to help another customer for another ten minutes. Someone who arrived after me. I patiently waited with my chills and coughs. After finishing with the woman, he walks back grabs a box from a shelf and says my medicine is ready. In other words, there wasn’t anything he had to do but grab a box. I was clearly sick and he now was clearly being rude. Clearly, he was trying show me, he was in charge. I walked up to the register and sat my other items on the counter. He then moved to the opposite counter smirking. So I move again and he scans the items. During the transaction he had the audacity to be impatient with me. At one point he even said, “are you going to read the screen?” This person needs to learn some manners! It’s the middle of flu season and he treats patients who are clearly sick like that!?! I’d rather drive to the valley to get my medicine then have to deal with this jerk ever again!
