This place has a pharmacy that should be put out of business. Rude, incompetent, never admit mistakes, ever changing cast of characters. I have quit going there. Highly recommend The Village Apothecary up the street.

The employees at the front counter are professional and pleasant. Few if any of them actually live in Woodstock, however, which underscores a serious problem with the local economy — people who work here cannot afford to live here. CVS Woodstock is often understocked in common items, such as your favorite toothpaste or even hydrogen peroxide. I asked why that was and they said it was because they do a brisk business. Perhaps, or perhaps CVS corporate doesn’t really care about their customers in Woodstock, or their supply-chain and inventory practices are shoddy.The pharmacy staff is never the same; their employees rotate constantly from one store to another, so their is no sense of customer familiarity or loyalty as with, for example, Dedrick’s or the Woodstock Apothecary. The Pharmacy employees tend to be surly or even uncourteous, if your prescription happens to be a controlled substance. And, their prices are inflated over what you can find in a smaller, family-owned business.
