I never write reviews, but I really wanted to about this place! We were on our way back from a trip upstate and on our way back into the city, we stopped by this place. Some of the best Cuban food I’ve ever had in my life! He even put in a crispy pork skin with my sandwich, and it was so so delicious. Authentic, flavorful and all around good vibes. I was so excited to eat it that I forgot to take a photo. When I head back upstate, I’ll definitely be back here again to try out more sandwiches and dishes!!

This place is AWESOME. Spanish foods cooked to perfection by a C.I.A. (Culinary Institute of America) chef. Whether you get the hot bar or order off the menu, you cannot go wrong here. The chicken with the orange sauce is great. The beef is also very very good. Of course there’s rice and beans. The plantains are fried to perfection. Why I put this place above others is the YUCCA (or cassava). Always cooked right here, this is a sweet oily compliment to an already delicious meal. I’ve tried Yucca at other Spanish restaurants only to be disappointed. Tastes more like a dry potato if not cooked correctly. Always delicious here.

Not only is the food the best I’ve legitimately ever had, but the owner is a dream in a person. Likely the nicest person I’ve ever met, and I only know him off of a phone call. As soon as I called the restaurant to see if they deliver, (they do through doordash but I was sadly too late.) Since I was late he actually had some one bring me my food, and FREE of charge. The fact that the food deserves way more than five stars, and he doesn’t just care about making money but as he said on the phone he loves to cook, and he just loves to make people happy that’s so special. I’ll never stop supporting this small business, this food really made my day!!
