You will find the shelves and cases filled with an abundance of organic produce, a thoughtful offering of local & artisanal goods, as well as everyday grocery staples. We offer coffees, fresh baked goods, a cook’s pantry, gourmet specialty items, cheeses & charcuterie, and a fine collection of imported and local craft beers & ciders, with a focus on Trappist beers. In addition, the deli at Cub Market creates a delicious breakfast, made-to-order sandwiches, daily specials, prepared foods & soups for takeaway.

Food always clean and prepared with care! Tasty breakfast sandwiches!Staff is always friendly and polite! Great workers!!I personally wont go back because the owner of the store treats people with indifference and a palatable attitude.Another down. So sad. I know that tensions are high due to Covid, but business 101 is be nice to your customers ☹

The bread, tomatoes, and lettuce they use for their sandwiches definitely keep them above any other places you can get a good quick sub for lunch in the area, along with a good selection of well prepared sides. The beer selection I remember pre-covid was good. For the groceries, they have many things I’ve not seen elsewhere for sale, definitely a wide variety of imported products, along with the regular convenience store staples. The regular manager/owner is cordial and polite with his customers and the staff seem to be as well. I have seen him help load/bring items to the vehicles of elderly patrons needing assistance.Covid-19 specifics: Currently, you are not allowed to go in the shop and thus you either call ahead your groceries/meal, or order, receive, and pay through a window. I would recommend calling ahead, although the window service for meals is not bad.Chicken Cutlet Sub review: Out of the 5 places within a 10 mile radius of Woodstock that make them, this is the only one that is worth the price (although the Woodstock Meat Market does do decent chicken cutlets, they don’t make the subs, and the cost for them alone to make the sub yourself, is within $1 than that of the Cub Markets pre-made sub, but when you factor in the tomato, french bread, time, and lettuce, will end up costing more.) The other three places have had very burnt breading and dry chicken within.
