Creek House Honey Farm was established in 2011. The owners, George and Paige Nester love to garden! In the winter of 2010, they decided to order a couple of bee hives to help pollinate their plants. Two hives turned into four and four turned into eight and the rest is history! George is a pharmacist and Paige was an art teacher with a biology background. Their love for science has turned into a love for beekeeping. In October 2018, they opened a storefront on 4th Ave. The store has a retail space, commercial kitchen and education center. You can visit the store Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10-5pm and Sunday 1-5pm.

Oh my goodness. This was the first time to visit Creek House Honey Farm and it totally blew my mind away. This place was absolutely beautiful!!! From their retail store to their restaurant area. And the drinks….oh the drinks. I was able to purchase a flight of different kinds of mead and it was absolutely delicious. Go for the Black Lavender and Honey mead. It was fantastic and so tasty. We had the cheese tray and it was so beautiful and almost too pretty to eat. They have sandwiches and salads. You simply have to go see and visit this local business in Canyon, Texas. You wont regret it!!!

We had a very lovely experience at the Creek House Honey Farm store and bistro. The honey baked products smell and taste wonderful. And the Birds and the Bees salad (chicken salad over fresh greens) was wonderful. They have wines too but I didn’t get to try them. Ryan was a fun person and knowledgeable about the food.
