We offer vegan alternatives, gluten free breads, and surprising combinations. All sandwiches are topped with our signature house Crave Sauce. Being inclusive is very important at Crave. We try to cater to as many different groups as possible, including vegetarians, vegans, halal-meat eaters, and people who are gluten free. Crave subs is very very good! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a sandwich place near UC Berkeley. They have many unique menu items and most of their meat based sandwiches have vegetarian alternatives. I got the Chicken Little sandwich which is pictured. All of their their sandwiches are usually packed with toppings so even a half will make you full. This was my second time going and I will definitely go again.

I LOVE THIS PLACE and come here often. It’s very affordable for a meal and filling as well. The sandwiches are all so well crafted and the flavor combos are so creative and something that would take me too much time to put together myself. Almost all of the subs I’ve tried from here blew my mind — I cherished each bite.

Best sandwiches I’m obsessed. I don’t live in Berkeley, but I work there and walked by this place on my way in everyday and as a vegetarian their sandwich board caught my eye and tried last month and I’m hooked, need to stop at least once a week minimum.
