The corn muffins, bacon, ham are dry flavorless and grits taste funny.

This was my 3rd time trying this location since I had a decent experience the other two times. But this time everything was exceptional. Yvonne has excellent customer service skills, one of the BEST waitresses I’ve had by far in San Antonio. These servers work super hard to take care of their table. And even though she was busy she was super professional and focused. If I owned a restaurant I would hire her today, however I own a remodeling business. If you visit this location and prefer excellent service ask for her she is wonderful.

Been a consistent issue lately that you join the wait list online and it says 15 to 20 min. You get there and check in and they say 30 min…. Go in and they say at least another 15 min. When you finally get seated the service takes for ever to take order or even bring drinks. Then half the time they are out of whatever you order…. Will not return to this location. Tried to leave a complaint on the website and you have to either snail mail or call.

All Cracker Barrels are definitely not the same. Some are excellent, some are run of the mill OK, and some are bad. The one on NE Loop 410 in San Antonio was pretty close to bad today for lunch. One of our orders came out incorrect. It was so slow in getting to us that I didn’t bother sending it back for correcting. Both orders were cold. The mashed potatoes were like glue, lumpy, burnt areas, and appeared to have been scraped from the bottom of the pot. No flavor to the meatloaf. On the other hand, our waitress was very nice and friendly. All that being said, we will continue to stop at Cracker Barrels when we travel, but I wish some, including this one, would take more pride in the quality of their food. The retail store section was, as usual, outstanding.
