Service too slow, and my entire family ate before me and my nephew got our food.

From fried taters to cornbread to salad to fish AND breakfast served all day.

The service was good but it just doesn’t feel like home anymore. The service is not great anymore, they don’t light the fireplace when it’s cold and their food quality has gone way down.Their Chicken Fried Steaks are frozen and taste like cardboard, some of the vegetable sides taste canned and the food overall doesn’t feel like grandma’s cooking anymore. And now they serve liquor at a family restaurant, not good.

I enjoy cracker barrel a lot. My order was good with pancakes. However, my wife’s order with French toast was not. They didn’t put powdered sugar or butter on, or even offer to.The service was not great, I was hardly checked on, and there were several times I needed something.

Nothing fancy, just straightforward country cooking they’re known for. Food was fresh, service was a bit slow considering they weren’t crowded. Still overall they’re good at what they do, no matter what location you visit.
