In spite of their name – you will find NO service here!

I reached out to Country Hearth because I wanted to convert our older gas log fireplace to an updated high efficiency gas insert. I talked to sereral companies in the Santa Barbara area, and wasn’t particularly impressed with their service, until I spoke with Tom at Country Hearth. Tom stood out to me because of his vast knowledge and experience in the industry and his willingness to go above and beyond to help me. Over the course of a month or so, he was very prompt in returning my calls or text messages and helped me settle on the prefect insert for our home. When it came time to do the install, he and his installer were efficient and tidy. I’m sure when it comes time to service our insert he will handle it with the same level of courtesy. I would have no reservations recommending him.

In spite of their name – you will find NO service here! Customer service consists of blaming the customer, yelling and swearing, and refusing to complete repairs without another service fee. Unable to identify a blown motor covered under warranty, their standard response is to blame the customer for not cleaning the pellet stove adequately and using the wrong pellets. Both issues are untrue and irrelevant to the problem. If you don’t mind waiting days for them to show up, like getting sworn at on the phone, and never getting your stove repaired – give them a call!
