In terms of a shopping trip to Costco, my visit today was pretty good. The area at the back of the store was relativity uncrowded. They had an employee directing people to self-check-out or other registers depending on what was in their cart and how they planned to pay. (alcohol or no, cash or credit). That helped streamline checkout. They was good mask compliance, too.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that this Costco location had self-checkout lanes. It’s great when you have less than 10 items and don’t want to wait for a regular checkout lane. The location is clean and well organized. What I don’t enjoy is coming to the mess of parking that is the District. However, I have to say that even during the COVID-19 era, this Costco is making the effort to keep customers and employees safe. This Costco location also has a gas station, if you are here for that as well.

Don’t shop here! It’s clean, safe, plentiful parking, organized well, and friendly staff from what I have experienced. Just gets really busy like every Costco does at typical times. Only wish less people attended when I do. 🙂
