The cell person that I encountered at this place was nice enough to call me and tell me a better way that I can receive my merchandise and also straighten out my credit. I then purchased my item which was a washing machine. On delivery they change the dates without the cons people knowing. So that made me have to make another trip to Port Arthur to correct and pick out another washer. I love my washer on delivery they were supposed to replace the hoses that came from the old washer they never replaced them they just used the old and I had already purchased a new one for them to use. Then when I called back because I had a question about my payments. I found out that the salesperson that had treated me so nice and so kind and paid attention to everything that I needed had resigned. I had no idea that’s the only thing that really upsetted me besides the holes that they use which were old

Went to Conn’s to purchase an 86 TV. Were offered delivery, but my husband and I were unable to coordinate work schedules with their delivery times. So, the manager, Lance, encouraged us to take the TV home that night. So,we said okay, and, Lance, helped us load it up in our truck. He even recommended a way to tie it down. In fact, he actually got into the truck and tied it down for us. Nice. Right?Yeah. No.We got the over $2000 TV home, hooked it up and found that the inside of the screen was damaged, right where the ratchet straps went over the box — the box Lance had positioned and tied down for transport to our home. Coincidence? Um. No.Fast forward to four days of phone calls to try and swap out the TV, since it was an error on their part, and no one will even call us back. We’ve even been given bogus and disconnected numbers to call for service, of which we’ve received none.So, here we are with a $2kTV that doesn’t work, and Conn’s not even speaking to us at all, except to say they aren’t responsible and we’re still expected to pay for this TV.Yeah. No.We’ve been doing business with them for years, and have in fact spent no less than $30k with them, mostly replacing our belongings in our twice flood-ravaged home. We’ve had no trouble, until now.Their customer service has been piss poor to the point of something akin to leaving the scene of an accident, which is a crime, doubly so if you are the cause. And, they are.I highly recommend that no one trade with any business that does not value customer loyalty and/or service. This whole experience is an ongoing nightmare because they refuse to do the right thing here.
