I give this company 1 star because you have to in order to leave a review but my experience was the most awful I’ve ever had with a dealership! I am from the Texas panhandle and was recently in a wreck that caused my car to burn completely. I have been searching high and low for a vehicle that would suite my families needs. I had spoke with Yvonne via email and text for 3 days when we decided to make the drive to Denison to purchase a Suburban. We set an appointment for Saturday morning after discussing with Yvonne how serious we were about purchasing the suburban and even asking for a deal sheet so we wouldn’t have the car sold from under us before we arrived. She assured us to just be there Saturday morning and they would take care of us. We arrive Saturday morning and the service with Ty was wonderful he showed us the vehicle all the ins and our let us test drive and we were excited and ready to talk numbers. That’s when it all fell apart. After Ty tried talking to the finance department about using the authorization number (because I’m a college student) he came back with devastating news. While we were on our test drive they had signed papers with someone else!! What?! Needless fo say we were hot! We had driven 5 hours bought a hotel room and taken our 6 week old baby on a pointless road trip all to have it sold out from underneath us. At this point we speak to Billy and he asks for more information because apparently they were unaware of the conversations I had been having with Yvonne. After discussing the GM Zach comes and asks us what is going on. We proceeded to explain to him what had happened. He was very kind and told us that if that was the case then we could talk numbers and if it worked out then we would get the vehicle and they would find another for the guy they sold the one we came to look at. At that point we start talking numbers. I know at my credit union I could get a great rate but they promised me they could do better by financing through GM. So we give them our information and the finance guy comes back and is ecstatic to tell us he can’t get us at 5.79%…as well as he had tacked on an extended warranty and GAP. I explained to him we weren’t even close on numbers and again I could go through the credit union for a way lower interest rate. After two separate times of “going back to see what we can do” he came in with the GAP taken off and 3.79%. I explained again that I could get a better interest rate through my credit union he said that they were not going to sell me the car unless we financed through GM. I said “so basically your bullying me into going through y’all for financing or I can’t have the vehicle”. Mind you by this time the vehicle price had gone from $68,890 to $75,000 on the deal sheet. The finance guy stated that “I’m just doing good business by keeping it in the dealership “. At this point I walked away with my daughter because I’m not going to be bullied into buying a car because I’m in a situation with no vehicle not to my own doing and they could care less because they’ve already sold the vehicle. At that time they tell my husband that we should be trying to make a deal because they are selling it to us instead of the other guy. My husband told them they were not going to speak to me or bully me in that manner. Then the finance guy told him we never had a deal to begin with. We left the dealership very angry for how we were treated. The same day we were able to call another dealership and get into a suburban for $12,000 less that they were trying to sell it to us for and the customer service was excellent! Beware of the slimy people they will come out and take you for all your worth if your not firm and willing to walk away. I don’t know how people like this sleep at night taking from people in bad circumstances!

Our SUV got beat up in a hail storm and Classic repaired it like new! They even detailed it also. Thank you Matt Linder and crew at Classic Chevrolet for an awesome job! 5 star service!
