Unbelievably one of the worst experiences I’ve had in service and customer rapport. On April 21th, I bought a used tire from here. Not even a month later, the tread of the tire came off. Not a puncture that popped the tire, THE TREAD FELL OFF.I first I thought I hit something and that would be reasonable but when I pulled off the side of the road I noticed that the air was still inside the tire and that only thing that came apart was the tread. I thought the tire looked a bit old and worn when they installed it but I trusted that the tire was safe given they were professionals. The piece of tire that came off hit my bumper and dislocated it. I’ve had car tires pop on me before, and I would assume the cause was from something on the road but it was obvious that the tire was so worn and cracked the integrity was compromised. Again it was not a flat tire, the tread fell off.I think they need to do a better job at inspecting their tires before they sell them (if they even do at all). When I went back to address this, the man was abrasive when asked about taking accountability. I showed them my bank statement for proof of purchase and dismissed it saying if I don’t have a receipt I can’t prove I purchased a tire from there. Regardless if their name is literally Cherokee Tires & Wheels.I would warn anyone who wants to buy used tire here to be careful, lest you want to end up like me with car damage plus a possible car accident on the high way. Please see my photos as a warning to any potential buyers.Edit:The owner of this shop seems to call any bad review fake customer, soin response to his claim about not showing proof of purchase, I am including my bank statement which I brought in when I came in to talk.In regards to the name calling (ignorant, moron, stingy etc.) I won’t go as low as call him names in return. It is obvious it’s a desperate form of an argument. Though I am surprised he considers anyone buying a used tire stingy—he seems to be completely unaware of his position as a tire shop owner who sells used tires. His attitude toward his customers is unwarranted. My financial situation is non of you business, but selling safe tires to paying customers is.

They’re rip offs ! I was charged $34 for 2 tire air caps and some air. Target has the tire air caps for $3 for 4. And every other place I went put air in my tires for free
