Charlotte Appliance has been a Rochester area fixture since 1932. Originally located in the village of Charlotte at the corner of Fleming St. in Lake Avenue, it was founded by Tony Agostinelli Sr. and his wife during the Depression. In those early days, Tony would barter and trade with customers wherever he could find them. The relationships he developed persevered, and buyers kept coming back.

Costumer service was good , didn’t feel out of place at all… Got a washer and dryer and they loaded it up on my truck and gave me advice..witch was welcomed .. We’ll see how thay work out ..
Office Calvary
Today we purchased a range, refrigerator and dish washer at Charlotte. The Sales rep who worked with us, Jami, was helpful, knew the products well and best of all-not pushy! She printed out information on products we were interested in so that we could go home, check consumer reports and make an informed decision. We highly recommend Charlotte Appliance.

I have been a Charlotte customer for a while because I like to shop local. I purchased a washer and dryer and it was a good experience until I had a problem after my most recent purchase that was delivered today. I asked my husband to reverse the dryer door. He could remove all the screws but one that was so tight he could not budge it. I called my sales person and explained the issue. Basically they didn’t care and it was my problem. That if I wanted Charlotte to come to my house to do this, they would have to charge me $100. I know this is a simple issue, but I was really disappointed in there was such a lack of care after the sale. I always liked Charlotte until now. I will not be recommending Charlotte anymore and shopping else where in the future.
