I drove over from Connecticut today to get an Asanka Bowl and when I got there drew a blank and couldn’t remember what it was called or even how to say mortar and pestle in English so I asked the gentleman in the shop in Spanish for a pilon which is what we call it.. he knew what I wanted and showed me some awesome huge Pilons which I’ll be back for but among those was a stack of beautiful bowls. I wish I had more time to walk through the shop but I ended up getting a lot of goodies to take home, bread, platanos, cassava and some Shea butter. I will definitely be back soon cause I’m on a mission to see everything they have.

The saleswoman was polite. Her fabrics were gorgeous though I would have liked more of a selection. The store was a bit cramped but clean.
