My Tahadas
Some time ago we had our Lane recliner recovered. I could say he did a nice job on the actual upholstery. However, in order to change out the fabric, he had to completely dismantle the reclining hardware. When we got the recliner back, it was VERY stiff in closing. We were told it was because of the new fabric and as the fabric stretched the ease of shutting the recliner would come. It’s literally been like 9 years. We continue to be frustrated and since we had COVID time on our hands we started looking at it. It is evident that he attached the fabric of the footrest upside down so to fix it, he put the footrest on upside down and drilled his own holes to attach it rather than fix his mistake and use the holes that came with it. Also, we can see that there is at least one spring missing and the wrong spring in one location which is why the back will not come back in to position very easily.I would NOT recommend you take this place any recliner or possibly anything that needs to be taken apart and put back together in order to be recovered.
