Social Profile :
At our Fort Payne, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.
Fast, casual seafood restaurant chain serving fish & seafood dishes, plus sides & desserts.

We sit in the drive thru for 45 minutes then another 15 minutes when we got to the window I ask, who I guess was the manager, why it took so long and why wasn’t the dinning room open he said limited staff but as we were waiting I know between 6 to maybe 10 cars drove away this place is losing money why not hire help that will actually work instead of being in slow motion and losing all that money from folks that drove away, as a business owner,I’m saying it’s management. They really got to do better or I see this place not being open very much longer.

Fort Payne is the best in my opinion of all Captain D’s. The new fried Oysters are awesome. Had a large and wish I had another. Possibly the best I have ever had.

Robert is always super friendly. The staff greets you and thanks you. Right now they are limited seating but they are doing a terrific job adjusting to that. The food didn’t take long to fix and it was hot. Can’t complain about this place at all.
