Welcome to the Candy Box in historic downtown MARYSVILLE! Candy Box is home of the original chocolate caramel turtle for over 65 years. Our secret caramel recipe is key! Caramel is hand dropped on high quality local California pecans, hand topped with chocolate then doubled to make a stack of goodness. For a little something extra special, choose sea salt topped turtles! And that’s just the turtles! We have: chocolate covered nuts, chews, creams, jellies, and truffles. I don’t know why there are 4.4 stars, the old woman who attends is very rude, today I went to have an ice cream, firstly she took my cone with her dirty hands without any napkin, and then she made a mistake when counting the money, she asked me for more $, I gave it to her, but I told her that she was wrong and she took the money and just threw it at me! So rude!!Don’t support business with rude people.

Very cool old timey candy and ice cream shop. I bought the pre-packaged english toffee ($5) and had an ice cream cone (upgraded to waffle cone) with espresso explosion ice cream (the owner says it is the most popular flavor). Both were amazing. I definitely recommend it.

This is a beautiful petite shop. I came for a gift box of chocolates and the staff was very helpful in letting me know prices and options for the set. They even have gift wrapping options! Very nice selection of flavors, truffles, and sweets.
