Definitely out of my price range. The man working the counter said they specialize in hard to find bottles of wine. I was looking to buy a bunch of bottles to bring home to family as gifts. He recommended another store that could help me in my price range. The reason for the 5 stars was he wasnt snooty about it, very polite.

Buyer beware if you buy expensive cellarworthy wines from this establishment (which they sell a lot of). You are out of luck if they sell you a bad bottleI bought 6 expensive ($90/bottle) SuperTuscan bottles from them in the Spring of 2012. They have a drinking window from 2015-24. Others were reporting on Cellartracker that they were drinking beautifully, but when I checked in on mine they were all flawed. I have an extensive collection in a temperature/humidity controlled cellar. I was sold defective goods. When I raised this with them they said their return policy is limited to 90 days. Absurd, particularly when you are selling lots of bottles that require 3 years (or more) to even consider drinking! They said that is what their competitors do. Nonsense. I recently had two corked bottles bought around the same time from a different merchant that were refunded without any problem. Flawed wine is an unfortunate but not infrequent occurrence and customers should not be stuck with a $500 loss for undrinkable wine.Shame on you Al!PS – their most recent five star review is from their own general manager. Very telling that they have to go to those lengths!
