I won a bid and called to arrange pick up and was told I could pay cash at that time. The representative told me that he would contact me the next day to provide a pickup location and time. Was never contacted and my subsequent attempts to contact him by phone were never answered. A week later I received an invoice by email on the unpaid item and an attempt was made to charge my online payment method. I never received information on where my item was located. Beware of this company.

I wanted to share the experience I had with CM Company Auction a few days ago, specifically with Nadia from CM Company Auction.First off, as someone who goes to a LOT of auctions, you need to understand that auctions are strictly buyer beware. If you have the expectation that everything you buy comes from an auction house with a guarantee like it would from a retail store, then auctions probably aren’t for you. If you have the expectation that you can get a good deal on something that may or may not need a little work (whether it be a car, electronics, furniture, equipment, a house, etc), and are prepared to diagnose(ideally prior to bidding on your item), and fix said issue, then you are likely to score a really good deal on something you might normally pay 2-3 times or more in a retail setting.The only thing you can really judge an auction house on, is courtesy, professionalism, and integrity, and Nadia easily set the standard for these three criteria in my dealings with her. She represented her company VERY well. I flew out to Corpus Christi to check out a vehicle they had listed, and She couldn’t have been more courteous, helpful, and accommodating, which can unfortunately be somewhat rare in the auction world.Based on some of the other reviews here, it sounds like some of the other people might not be happy with some of the bids they made, but it also doesn’t sound like they were really prepared to make such a big purchase through an auction to begin with. If you bid on items you know how to inspect prior to purchasing, and fix after winning, then you won’t run into such issues, based on nothing other than my interaction with Nadia, I’d say CM Company Auctions is a great company to do business with.
