Walked in for an interview today and the door was broken as the first problem. When I got out of the interview I noticed a customer was looking for help and then there’s no one working on the sales floor. I offered to help, being a former employee I know most of the store’s policies and procedures. This situation is completely unacceptable in any customer service environment. I notice that this issue is not present at other retailers nearby like Wegmans and Wal mart. Also, I got hired as one of the original temporary seasonal workers for 3 weeks. They rehired me in July as a flex sales associate but kept cutting my hours at the very last minute. Definitely poor customer service and not a good work environment. I’m an entrepreneur also and have retail customer service experience, as well as being a former employee, so I’m a qualified source. They rehired me as a flex cashier, which is the reason why they get the second star. This is a part time seasonal job at best.
